The Chicago Blackhawks could send over lots of players for Jack Eichel.

Going back to the 2021 first-round pick that the Chicago Blackhawks currently have at pick 11, there are going to be some really good players to take a chance on. However, the chances of them being better than Eichel are slim to none. Buffalo would be smart to make sure that first is a guarantee in a trade for their captain.

As for Kirby Dach, he would go there and have a chance to be their number one centre. We don’t know, as of now, who will be there to play alongside him but we can only hope that Buffalo eventually gets it together. For the sake of being a hockey fan, the NHL needs Buffalo to be relevant.

Dylan Strome and Alex Nylander going the other way would allow Buffalo to have some extra players to try in their top six. As we all know, Nylander was already a Buffalo Sabre in the past before they fleeced the Hawks in the Henri Jokiharju trade. With a chance to go back to the team that drafted him, he might actually care about playing hockey again. As for Strome, he is a good player but is expendable if it means getting someone like Jack Eichel.

The Chicago Blackhawks are also in Seth Jones rumours. light. Related Story

All of these trades would see the Hawks give up a lot. With the way things are going right now, they don’t have much to lose. With their roster as it currently stands, they are the worst team in the Central Divison when it goes back to its normal alignment. Hopefully, they are able to do something that betters the team.
