D. Boston Bruins. Kevan Miller. 86. player. 70.

The Chicago Blackhawks could really use some veteran help on their blue line.

The Chicago Blackhawks are not very good on defence. Their poor system has a lot to do with it which is more of a knock on the coach (and GM) than anything but the players that are there aren’t very helpful. It isn’t all bad but they need a lot of help. Kevan Miller of the Boston Bruins is someone who can help them with that if he doesn’t re-sign with his old team.

Miller has played with the Bruins for his entire seven-year NHL career. He is now 33 years old and looking to finish his career on a high note. If he came to the Hawks, he would certainly get plenty of playing time as they don’t have many players that are better.

The one issue with Miller is his health. He always seems to find himself injured so the Hawks would probably have to deal with that as the season wears on. However, when he is on the field, he is very good at helping his team avoid giving up goals. He is someone who focuses on defense more than offense so you wouldn’t be expecting a huge offensive output. If he did his job the right way, he would be a great addition to a team that desperately needs a player like him.
