The most polarizing Chicago Bears of 2021: Justin Fields

There may not be a more polarizing player on this Bears roster right now than rookie quarterback Justin Fields. There are plenty of people out there who do not believe Fields should start right away. Just ask the national media.

But, on the contrary, there are many who think he should start from Week 1. The way he has been talked about this summer already has the fan base and his teammates buzzing.

Still, there are some who lay in the middle of it all and wonder if Week 5 or Week 6 makes more sense for Fields to get his shot. However, will it be a little too late if he starts at that point?

The point is, there’s not a single player on this roster who will be talked about more than Fields from now until… well, who knows. There will be conversations, debates and fiery arguments about this kid for a while, I’m sure. But, that comes with the territory. He’s the quarterback of the Chicago Bears — a franchise long starved of great quarterback play.

The one thing we know for sure is, he’s made for this. He has said so himself. He’s not afraid of the spotlight. He’s been cool, calm and collected since Day 1. Fields is handling it like a true professional already.
