Chicago Bulls: 5 free agents team must make decisions on

Chicago Bulls must make a decision on Daniel Theis
When the Bulls made the move to deal Moritz Wagner for Daniel Theis, I could not believe the Boston Celtics would agree to a trade like that. Of course, the obvious part of that deal meant that the Bulls would have to ultimately re-sign Theis for it to mean anything in the end.
Theis came in and immediately fit right in. He gave the Bulls a huge lift on man occasions. Chicago has been in need of a player like Theis since the days of Taj Gibson. Even Bobby Portis didn’t bring the entire skill set and intensity that Theis does on a nightly basis.
The Bulls have a physical, tough rotational big man in Theis. This is exactly what they have been missing. Chicago should do what they can to bring Theis back, because this team needs an edge. They need a physical aspect to them, and Theis brings it. He brings the energy.
After being traded to the Bulls, Theis averaged a career-best 10.0 points per game to go along with 5.5 boards. He also posted another career-high in assists per game (1.8). The Nikola Vucevic trade was obviously the most impactful overall, but trading for Theis was such an underrated, intelligent move by the Bulls. They have to bring him back this summer.
