Chicago Bears: Incredible news on Aaron Rodgers out of OTAs
The Chicago Bears have a lot riding on the decision made between the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers. He has been one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the National Football League in his time there but he is clearly unhappy.
The Bears have been one of the biggest victims of his elite play for most of it. Now, there is trouble in paradise and the Bears are looking to take advantage. It would be so nice to see him end up somewhere else.
The Chicago Bears should be happy about the Aaron Rodgers news out of OTAs.
Organized team activities are underway for the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers was nowhere to be found. He is normally in attendance for this event which makes it notable that he is not there. The Packers are in big trouble if he doesn’t show up to camp and ultimately not play for them this season. You never know if things turn around for them but it doesn’t good look here at the end of May.
It was Adam Schefter who made it known that Rodgers normally doesn’t miss this program for the Packers throughout his career. At this point, it makes perfect sense for Green Bay Packers fans to worry about this situation. It all started last year when they traded up to select Jordan Love who may be his replacement one day.
Of course, it would be good for the Bears if Rodgers left the Green Bay Packers. They just drafted Justin Fields with the hopes that he becomes an elite player that helps them win a lot of football games. It is easier to see that happening sooner rather than later if Rodgers is out of the division. It could even change the decision on when to allow Fields to start. This is a huge story across the world right now but no opponent is as locked in on the results of the situation as the Chicago Bears.
Missing OTAs is a big step for him. It isn’t like he normally doesn’t go either. The fact that he is usually there makes this a very interesting situation. Regardless, for now, the Bears need to concentrate on themselves and start developing the quarterback that they put so much faith in. It is going to be very fun to see how all of this plays out. Hopefully, no matter what, the Bears start to turn the corner as an organization. This is the first step towards that.
