Chicago Bears: Justin Fields is outspoken at rookie camp
It still doesn’t feel real. Justin Fields is a member of the Chicago Bears. Before they traded up to get him in the 2021 NFL Draft, it didn’t feel possible that there would be anything exciting about the Bears going into the season. Well, they got him and he is the new hope of the future. It all started on Friday when he took his first step at Rookie Minicamp at Halas Hall. He made it well known that he believes in himself during the press conference that he had.
Justin Fields of the Chicago Bears clearly believes in himself as a quarterback.
Justin Fields spoke to the media today during minicamp and he was super interesting to listen to. He made sure to let people know that he believes that he can be the starting quarterback right away. He claims you shouldn’t be there if you aren’t striving for that.
Fields also claimed that he is made for this level of pressure as he has felt it ever since he was in high school. That is great because the Bears really need this guy to hit. Multiple people will be fired if he turns out to be no good and Fields knows that.
The most heartwarming thing he talked about was his interactions with the fans. According to him, Bears fans have been super good to him ever since draft night. He claims to know how much they love their team and how passionate they are. The funny thing is, he might not realize how much he actually means right now.
This is a huge day for the Bears and the fans. He was there with the rest of his rookie class. All of the sudden, a Bears team with no future has something special brewing. Matt Nagy has his guy and is going to get a chance to develop him. The coach wasn’t able to attend the first day because of COVID-19 contact tracing but he will be back in no time.

There is a lot of life injected into the organization and Justin Fields is the leader of it. He claims that he is made for the pressure and that is good but there is pressure nonetheless. However, if he lives up to it, he will be a superstar in the city of Chicago. The Bears haven’t had a quarterback like this in any way over their entire history. So far, it has been fun to be a Bears fan since the night of the draft.
