Ranking Chicago Bears 2021 schedule by opponent difficulty
To become a Super Bowl contender, the Chicago Bears can look at these two teams.
2. Cleveland Browns
It is amazing that the year is 2021 and people consider the Cleveland Browns to be Super Bowl contenders. They were the worst franchise in the NFL just a few years ago and now they believe they are in the mix for the AFC. They play in a tough division but there is no reason to bet against their current roster. If Baker Mayfield can play the quarterback position at a high level then this team could win a lot of games and make a push towards the Super Bowl.
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Nobody should ever doubt the great Tom Brady. This is the greatest player in the history of the National Football League we are talking about here. He left the New England Patriots after 20 years of success that included six Super Bowl titles. A lot of people wrongly accused him of being a product of “The Patriot Way” so he went to Tampa Bay and magically took a 7-9 team and turned them into a Super Bowl champion.
Every team in the league should be scared of what they can do in year two. He even took a few weeks to get everything down in 2020. Once it was figured out, it was game over for the rest of the NFC. They even went through the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl to win it. Returning an entire starting lineup of the previous year’s Super Bowl champion is borderline impossible and the Buccaneers are going to be the first team to do it.
Tampa Bay rounds out what should be a very difficult schedule. You have to wonder how this impacts the team’s decision-making with their quarterback room. It is one of the harder schedules in the league but it would be nice to see the Bears figure out a way to surprise some folks and win a lot of games.
