Chicago Bears Schedule Release: Week 15 MNF vs. Minnesota Vikings

Immediately after a prime time contest with one division rival, the Bears head back home to take on another. In Week 15, they finally get a prime time game at Soldier Field, and they’ll be taking on the Minnesota Vikings.

Believe it or not, this is going to be the first of two meetings this season. The Bears will travel to Minnesota in Week 18 to close out the season. At this stage in the year, divisional games will be at a premium. These wins will likely mean more than others.

Chicago will be taking on a pretty potent offense led by Kirk Cousins, who gets a lot of unwarranted flack. Last year, Cousins’ stat line would be good for the best ever by a Bears quarterback (4,265 yards and 35 touchdowns). He has weapons around him, too, so the Vikings should have no problem putting up points this year.

The Vikings’ offense is based around the running game of Dalvin Cook, and if they can get the ground game going, it’ll open things up for the second-year sensation, Justin Jefferson. The Bears’ corners should be in for quite the matchup with Jefferson, along with the crafty veteran, Adam Thielen.

There’s no doubt both teams have the potential to score points, but these games are usually a lot closer and more physical, so we’ll see how things shake out. Again, this is only the first of two matchups between the Bears and Vikings. Chicago’s schedule, late in the year, is going to be crucial to a playoff berth.
