Chicago Bears Schedule Release: Week 14 SNF @ Green Bay Packers
It wouldn’t be a season without the Bears and Packers in prime time. Hopefully, by Week 14, this game is a pivotal one for the Bears.
The big question right now is whether or not Aaron Rodgers will be under center for the Packers this year. He continues to hold his stance saying he will not return, but apparently both sides have at least been discussing a contract extension.
Green Bay lost Jamaal Williams in the offseason, so it will be all Aaron Jones and second-year back A.J. Dillon in the back field this year. Rodgers will obviously have the league’s scariest red zone threat in Davante Adams, still. But, beyond Adams, Rodgers doesn’t have much by way of receiving threats.
That has never seemed to matter much when the Packers play Chicago, though, because Rodgers simply has their number. Very rarely have the Bears come away with a victory against Green Bay, and this one is at Lambeau under the lights.
Talk about an opportunity to make a statement. This is it. It’s a big game, especially if Fields is starting. We’ll get a chance to see the Bears’ future at the position while the Packers’ man is nearing the end of his career. It should be a game to remember.
