Chicago Bears Schedule Release: Diving into every prime time game

Chicago Bears Schedule Release: Week 9 MNF @ Pittsburgh Steelers
The Bears will go another eight weeks before finally taking the big stage again, and this time it will be on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers. At this point, there is no question that Fields will be the starting quarterback, and the Bears will hopefully be a competitive football team.
If the defense is playing well, this could be a pretty hard-fought game. Pittsburgh returns one of the best defenses in football as well in 2021, leading to what might be a lower scoring affair. On either side, you’ll see one of the best pass rushers in football: Khalil Mack and T.J. Watt.
The Steelers have plenty of scoring ability, though, and did some damage in this year’s draft on offense. With their first two picks in this year’s draft, the Steelers added a starting running back in Najee Harris out of Alabama and a potential starting tight end in Penn State’s Pat Freiermuth.
Harris replaces James Conner in the back field and will give the Steelers that old school, physical type of running back.
Pittsburgh also returns their three-headed monster at receiver with JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chase Claypool and Diontae Johnson. It’s all on the shoulders of the aging Ben Roethlisberger now. If the Bears can get to Roethlisberger, that might be the difference in this game.
