Week 16: Chicago Bears @ Seattle Seahawks

This is now the most important game of the season. If Chicago loses this one, they likely have no shot at the postseason. Fortunately, the defense holds Russell Wilson in check and David Montgomery has his biggest game of the year, compiling over 150 yards on the ground and a touchdown. Chicago pulls off a much-needed win to stay alive.

Week 17: Chicago Bears vs. New York Giants

In yet another must-win game, the Bears host Daniel Jones and a turnover-prone offense. The defense obliterates Jones, sacking him seven times in this game. Chicago scores four touchdowns — three in the first half — en route to a one-sided victory over the Giants.

Week 18: Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings

This is it. This is the game that determines the Bears’ playoff future. If they win, they’re in as a Wildcard team. If they lose, the Bears are the first team out of the postseason. Fields heads out in his last regular season game as a rookie and does what he’s done on the biggest stages his entire career, both college and professional. He puts on a gutsy performance, leading the Bears to a postseason-clinching victory over a divisional rival on the road.

Ultimately, the Bears’ future looks a whole lot brighter after finishing the year 11-6 behind their franchise quarterback, Fields. Chicago now has plenty of work to do, though, as they face a motivated Seahawks team in the Wildcard round — a team they beat just a few weeks ago.
