The Chicago Bears will see Russell Wilson in weeks seven of the 2021 NFL season.
The Chicago Bears are playing the entire NFC West in 2021. That means a date with the Seattle Seahawks is going to be on the slate. The Bears and Seahawks will match up against Seattle on December 26th, 2021. A nice little ‘day after Christmas” game is going to be something special. If Justin Fields balls out throughout the season, this feels like a candidate to be flexed into primetime. Russell Wilson will be the elite (and Super Bowl Champion) quarterback on the other side.
Wilson was in the conversation to be the next Bears quarterback when reports came out about his unhappiness in Seattle. They probably explored it but the chatter was pretty much shut down when they announced the signing of Andy Dalton. It is now even less likely due to the fact that they drafted Justin Fields out of Ohio State University. Now, they will face Wilson in week 16 on the road.
Wilson is one of the best quarterbacks in the National Football League. He can make plays with his legs and his arms which allows him to be in the MVP conversation every year. He is a perennial playoff performer as well, as the Seahawks are always in the mix. One of the reasons they are always in the mix is because of Wilson. Expect him to come out and ball this year as well.
