Projecting the 2021 Chicago Bears linebackers

Linebackers: Khalil Mack, Roquan Smith, Danny Trevathan, Robert Quinn, Jeremiah Attaochu, Joel Iyiegbuniwe, Trevis Gipson, Charles Snowden

The Bears’ linebackers won’t change much from last season, other than just two new faces. The starters are locked in with Khalil Mack leading the way, Roquan Smith coming off an All Pro type of 2020 season and both Danny Trevathan and Robert Quinn returning.

Hopefully, the strength of the defensive line and aggressiveness of Sean Desai will help Mack return to elite form in 2021. Last season was down from what we would normally expect from him. He should absolutely be a double-digit sack guy year-in and year-out.

Aside from the starters, Joel Iyiegbuniwe and Trevis Gipson return with the former contributing mostly on special teams.

The new faces come by way of free agency (Jeremiah Attaochu) and an undrafted free agent (Charles Snowden). The Bears were lucky to get Snowden after the draft, who was one of the top available undrafted names. He makes this roster as the last linebacker in.
