Projecting the 2021 Chicago Bears offensive line

Offensive Line: Teven Jenkins, Cody Whitehair, Sam Mustipher, James Daniels, Larry Borom, Alex Bars, Germain Ifedi, Elijah Wilkinson

Talk about a position group getting a boost over the weekend. The Bears’ offensive line appears to be in much better shape after the draft, and specifically at tackle.

Oklahoma State’s Teven Jenkins comes to Chicago as a locked and loaded starter, especially with the Bears parting ways with Charles Leno. Jenkins will take over the left tackle spot, more than likely, with right tackle being an open competition in camp.

The interior of the line looks phenomenal after how they came together last season. Sam Mustipher played well at center and looks like he could be the starter there in 2021. That would slide Cody Whitehair over to guard, with James Daniels coming back at the other guard.

Alex Bars becomes such a valuable depth piece, here. He has experience playing both guard and tackle, as does Germain Ifedi, giving the Bears some flexibility with their three backup linemen.

This is a position where you could see the Bears keep one additional player and forego keeping Nall on the roster — and boy, do most fans hope that happens.
