The Chicago Bears made the most out of three sixth-round picks in 2021.

Khalil Herbert

The Chicago Bears have a nice running back room now that they drafted Khalil Herbert out of Virginia Tech. David Montgomery is going to be the primary back and Tarik Cohen is more of a gadget (east to west) guy so there is some nice balance there. If Herbert can contribute to that, he will prove to be a valuable asset to the team. They need to run the ball a lot to get the most out of Justin Fields and having three good players to do so will certainly help.

Final Grade: B

Dazz Newsome

The Chicago Bears took Dazz Newsome out of North Carolina in the sixth round. They have a very interesting wide receiver room going right now with their NFL team. Allen Robinson had to sign a franchise tag and Anthony Miller is a disaster of a draft pick from a few years ago. Darnell Mooney sure is good as a number three behind those two if they can all stay healthy. Having all of those guys be reliable should be able to help the new quarterback.

Now, they can only hope that Newsome comes in and provides something special. It seems that he is highly skilled and is someone that could have been drafted earlier. His return game is also something that might get him some extra playing time if he impresses with that down the line.

Final Grade: A

Thomas Graham Jr.

One of the main needs from this draft for the Chicago Bears was a cornerback. Everyone can always use lots of depth in their defensive secondary so the Bears were smart to draft Thomas Graham Jr. out of Oregon. He is going to help the team a lot and could compete for a job as soon as the 2021 season. This was a good pick, especially at its spot in the draft.
