The Chicago Bears play right in the heart of Big Ten country. Chicago is a good place for some of the Big Ten’s best players to end up so maybe they will look to that conference in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. The Bears have been atrocious in the early rounds of the draft in recent memory so maybe things will change this time around. There are a lot of different types of players from the conference to consider so maybe they will choose one of these three notable ones:

EDGE. Wolverines . Kwity Paye. 19. player. 811.

The Chicago Bears might have to accept that they need some help with edge rushing.

The Chicago Bears pass rush isn’t what it was in 2018 but it is still pretty good. Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks are both very good at their jobs. Robert Quinn was a disaster in 2020 but there is hope that he can bounce back in 2021. It is a nice group but we don’t know how long they will all be together.

If the Bears trade Hicks, they might want to draft someone who can take his place. If he is available, Kwity Paye would be a great option for them. He is a defensive lineman on the edge out of the University of Michigan. He was there for parts of four seasons and was outstanding. He made 97 total tackles in 28 collegiate games and had 11.5 sacks.

It isn’t ideal to be thinking about drafting Hicks’ replacement but that might be the reality of the situation. This kid is very talented and could help change the future of Chicago Bears pass-rushing so it could end up being a good selection.
