Round 1 – Pick 4

The Chicago Bears would land their quarterback at pick four of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Chicago Bears have been waiting for a quarterback for a very long time. They could finally get that guy if they risk it all to get him in the 2021 NFL Draft. Trading all of that to get to pick number four would be worth it if they have the opportunity to draft Justin Fields. We know Trevor Lawrence and Zach Wilson will be gone and the 49ers don’t seem interested in Fields at three. That leaves him available to every team after and the Bears could take advantage of it.

Fields had a great career playing for Ohio State University. He led his team to a lot of winning, including a trip to the College Football Playoff in back-to-back years. He also won the semi-final game in the 2020-21 season before a defeat to Alabama in the National Championship. It was a really nice collegiate career and now he looks to take his talents to the pros.

Andy Dalton was brought in as a free agent quarterback but adding a talent like Fields would really help create a quarterback competition. There is no reason that Fields shouldn’t be able to beat out Dalton for the job. This is the type of draft day move that can save a job or two if it works out.
