Chicago Bears 7-Round Mock Draft: Add a key piece in first round
The Chicago Bears have a lot of options with a lot of picks in round six.
Round 6, Pick 204
The Chicago Bears are a team that needs help on their offensive line. They also need as much depth as they can possibly get because injuries happen. They (right or wrong) are trying to win in 2021 so helping this situation is important. Drafting Michal Menet from Penn State University is something to consider when they get to the sixth round.
Round 6, Pick 208
The Chicago Bears are a team that needs to add as many offensive linemen as they possibly can. This draft is loaded with them and they should take risks on a few of them. Drafting Landon Young out of the University of Kentucky could prove to be a smart move. They should be trying to develop as many young studs on the line as possible so that they are ready when the quarterback of the future gets there.
Round 6, Pick 221
As mentioned before with the Nico Collins pick, the Bears are going to need some help with this wide receiver core. It seems like Allen Robinson might be on his way out and Anthony Miller isn’t impactful. That leaves them with Mooney so drafting two good players at the position in this year’s draft would be really smart. Connor Wedington of Stanford could be that guy for the Bears in the middle of the sixth round.
Round 6, Pick 228
Even if the Chicago Bears don’t land one of the five first-round guys or any of the secondary quarterbacks in this draft, they should still draft one. The Bears are the type of organization that should be drafting one every single year until they get it right. If Ian Book of Notre Dame is there for them in the latter portion of the sixth round, they should consider it. He had a really good year for the Irish but doesn’t get nearly the attention as some of the other quarterbacks in his class.
