The Chicago Bears must finally have a first-round hit in the 2021 Draft.

RD1: South Carolina CB, Jaycee Horn
South Carolina cornerback, Jaycee Horn is the ideal pick to fulfill the cornerback position. The 6’1 205-pound corner was second-team all-SEC despite missing the last three games of the season to prepare for the NFL draft.

Horn possesses tremendous ball skills, 4.3 speed, and while he is often knocked for his inability to finish tackles, he shows a number of ideal traits from a physical standpoint. His zone protection prototype makes him a great fit for the Bears defense and what they believe In.

RD2: Purdue WR, Rondale Moore
Rondale Moore is a shifty versatile receiver. He can be a nightmare in the slot and puts defenses in a bind with linebacker mismatches and the ability to outrun the coverage. Although only 5’9 and 180 lbs, Moore ran an unofficial 4.29 40 and has been spotted on social media squatting 600 lbs.

His strength and speed should allow him to make an instant impact on any offense and on special teams as a filled void after losing return man Patterson this offseason. Matt Nagy could use a guy like Moore in addition to Allen Robinson and rookie standout Darnell Mooney to enhance the passing game.
