Out of every team in the NFC North, the Chicago Bears and their fan base may have the least reason to be excited about the future.

The Green Bay Packers are coming off a season in which they won the division while quarterback Aaron Rodgers won an MVP. Rodgers proved he has far too much football left in the tank for the team to worry about drafting his replacement.

The Minnesota Vikings have issues of their own, but at least they have something the Bears do not: a quarterback coming off a season in which he threw for 35 touchdowns and over 4,000 yards.

Then, there’s the Detroit Lions, who have completely torn down their leadership in effort to move in a positive direction.

The Chicago Bears are simply stuck in mediocrity and continue to see the same issues plague them.

With the NFL season moving to a 17-game campaign, the jokes have already been circling. The Bears can no longer go 8-8, but now will be striving for 9-8 instead, it seems. However, the fan base wants more than that. They deserve better than that.

Will general manager Ryan Pace strive for more than just average? Will he finally take the quarterback position seriously? We can only hope.

Leading up to the 2021 NFL Draft, fans have been holding onto hope that the Bears will move up and draft a quarterback. If a move for a quarterback doesn’t happen, the Bears can still make additional moves.

How about making a move within the NFC North in order to better their roster? One of the following deals may help the team, although they are a bit desperate.
