2nd round: Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss

With the second-round pick, I was targeting a wide receiver with this pick. Both Terrance Marshall and Elijah Moore were available. Marshall when searching around is almost consistently ranked ahead of Moore. However, the preference here is Moore who might be the most slept on wide receiver prospect in this class.

The Bears need another home hitter to pair with the current one they have in Darnell Mooney. Moore provides that along with much more. At 5-9 185 pounds, Moore plays bigger than his listed size. He is a good balance receiver, who can beat you vertically downfield, but also be a possession receiver.

He is a weapon that can line up on the boundary or the slot, giving them unpredictability in their offense. A trio of Allen Robinson, Mooney, and Moore in 11 personnel should make Andy Dalton easier most Sundays.

There is plenty of uncertainty with Anthony Miller coming into the off-season on the trade block. Both him and Javon Wims have underwhelmed. For Riley Ridley (a former fourth-round pick), the coaches are not high on him. The WR room needs to be rebuilt and Moore would be the start of that.
