Chicago Bears: Three trade packages for Atlanta’s fourth overall pick
The 2021 NFL Draft is coming up and it is a huge one for the Chicago Bears. It will give us a strong indication of their direction as a franchise as well as the potential leash on general manager Ryan Pace. There might be an opportunity right now to make a big move that will extend his job security if he executes it the right way.
Things have not been good for them since going 12-4 in 2018 but they have technically been in the playoffs two of the last three years. Now, they have to do something special in this draft in order to convince the fanbase that they are on the right path.
The Chicago Bears have an opportunity to go up and get a quarterback in the draft.
A few reports are out there that the Atlanta Falcons are willing to trade out of the fourth overall pick. That is something that the Chicago Bears absolutely have to consider. They are in desperate need of a quarterback. Mitchell Trubisy is gone and neither Nick Foles nor Andy Dalton is the answer. There are a few things that should make them try to trade up to four with Atlanta.
We all know that Trevor Lawrence is going to take his talents from the University of Clemson to the Jacksonville Jaguars as the first overall pick in the draft. It seems likely that the New York Jets will take Zach Wilson of BYU with the second pick. That leaves the third pick with the San Francisco 49ers.
