Chicago Bears must look at these remaining free agents

Chicago Bears remaining free agent targets: CB Bashaud Breeland
This offseason, the Bears have had some turnover at the cornerback position. To start with, they decided to part ways with slot corner Buster Skrine in order to save some money. Then, the team made a bold move to cut former All Pro corner Kyle Fuller, leaving them with a couple of starting roles to fill.
Although they signed Desmond Trufant to presumably start next to Jaylon Johnson, they still need to add more talent. For some reason, veteran Bashaud Breeland has bounced around on 1-year deals and has played for a handful of teams.
Still, Breeland has been a dependable player for each and every team he’s played for over the past few seasons. If the Bears wanted to sign him and slide him into Skrine’s vacancy, he would fit well.
Breeland is a scrappy player who is excellent in making plays on the ball, and he has plenty of playoff and big game experience. In each of the last three seasons, Breeland has come up with multiple interceptions. He’s also tallied 81 passes defensed in seven years. Again, for some odd reason he finds himself as a free agent. The Bears would strengthen their cornerback room tremendously by signing him.
