Lonzo Ball has long been the rumored target for the Chicago Bulls

Bulls fans are most used to hearing the connection between Lonzo Ball and Chicago than any other potential trade candidate. This season, it’s apparent the Bulls are in desperate need of a true point guard; someone who can facilitate over everything else, first.

Billy Donovan switched up the lineup recently, sending Coby White to the bench and thus allowing Tomas Satoransky to step in as the starter. Donovan proved why he was the man for the job with this move, because the Bulls immediately started to play more competitive basketball. The rotation looked a whole lot better with Satoransky starting.

If the Bulls were to swing and land Ball, they’d be getting a similar player to Satoransky; one who can run the offense well. But, Ball is a better overall player simply because he can play excellent defense.

Ball is also playing the best basketball of the season as of late, which might make New Orleans reluctant to trade him. He’s improved his shot by a huge margin, especially showing he can knock it down from long range now as well.

One of the rumored deals, for quite some time now, is a Lauri Markkanen for Ball swap. Teams have been calling about Markkanen this week, so it’s a good possibility something like that happens.
