The impact that these changes have made is allowing the Chicago Bulls to play better.

Closing Remarks

Overall, the Bulls have put together two solid games this week. Sure, both their opponents were shorthanded solid players like OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam for the Raptors, and Luguentz Dort and Al Horford for the Thunder. With that, the Bulls continue to beat teams they should be beating.

The offense is starting to develop and look more energized. Look at the points in the paint and team assists for reference. The lineup change has really improved the way they play basketball with more transition offense, points in the paint, and trips to the foul line.

The defense is using the momentum of the offense to force more turnovers. The Bulls forced 17 turnovers versus the Thunder and only added 12 of their own. The Bulls also played with a 2-3 zone, which on one occasion stopped Shai Gilgeous-Alexander from putting down a floater in the third quarter.

The Bulls will be back in the United Center on Wednesday night versus the San Antonio Spurs. This will be a better test for the new lineup, as the Spurs are the first winning team they will face since making the starting lineup change. It is wildly encouraging the Bulls were able to bench their starters to be ready for upcoming matchups.
