Oklahoma State. 3. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. Tylan Wallace. 57

If the Bears truly do move on from Anthony Miller — and I think they will — the team will need to metaphorically re-invent the wheel at the position. The Allen Robinson situation looks like it will get even uglier as time goes on, thus a trade may be imminent.

How do the Bears end up with another third-round pick?

Bears get: Pick no. 86

Jets get: WR Allen Robinson

With the pick being obtained from trading Robinson, the Bears select a player with similar traits. Tylan Wallace has outstanding hands and is a killer on the outside with 50-50 balls. Wallace is one of those receiver who prides himself on going up and winning those battles.

Route-running isn’t something that will jump off the screen, which is much different than Robinson. However, he wasn’t asked to run many intricate routes at Oklahoma State, either. So, it could be something we have yet to see his potential with.

Wallace would be a great compliment to Mooney and Marshall. Because a guy like Marshall is very diverse, he could slide into the slot on downs where Wallace and Mooney are on the outside. These three young receivers have the potential to give the Bears’ quarterback (Lance, hopefully) some multi-talented options in the passing game.

Back in 2018, Wallace exploded with 86 receptions for 1,496 yards and 12 touchdowns in 13 games. In his past two seasons (19 games), Wallace has totaled 112 catches for 1,831 yards and 14 scores. He’s experienced monstrous production as a former target monster, but would join a youthful trio with plenty of opportunities in Chicago.
