Jack Eichel would be perfect for the Chicago Blackhawks and their future.
The Chicago Blackhawks would look really nice with Jack Eichel playing for them. He is the player in the NHL that needs the most saving right now. The Buffalo Sabres are currently in the longest playoff drought of any team in the National Hockey League and they aren’t ending it any time soon. Eichel needs to get out of there and the Hawks would be a perfect fit. We don’t know when Jonathan Toews will be back and Dach would make a great 1-2 punch with Eichel.
Some people don’t like to give Eichel the credit he deserves because the Sabres are so bad. They don’t do anything to help him and he still is one of the best players in the league. He is injured right now but the 2020-21 season hasn’t been his best in terms of points and assists but it is clearly more based on bad luck.
He creates high danger chances for himself and his teammates but they just haven’t worked out as much as you would expect based on probability. With that, the law of averages suggests that he will go off sooner than later. He has a CorsiFor of 55.8 percent which is incredible. That means that his team is so much more likely to create shots than give up shots at even strength. He is truly one of the best players in the NHL and not many need a change of scenery more than him.
