. C. Chicago Bulls. Joakim Noah. 13. player. 24

Number Four:

Joakim Noah was in the news recently because he has announced that he is going to retire. He also made it clear that he is going to retire as a Chicago Bull. That is fantastic news for people who are fans of this team because he was a sensational player for a long time. Noah was drafted by the Chicago Bulls with the 9th overall pick of the first round in the 2007 NBA Draft. From that point, he played nine seasons with the Bulls and he was awesome for pretty much all of them.

When you think of the Joakim Noah era, he probably wasn’t the most talented (or even best) player on the team but he was certainly one of them. In addition to that, he was the clear leader of the team on and off the court. He was the type of player that it seemed like was the captain. It was a pleasure to watch him play for the Bulls and be one of their best during a stretch where the team was really good.

Following that long tenure in Chicago, Noah spent a little bit of time with the New York Knicks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Los Angeles Clippers. He was never able to capture that NBA title but his earlier years with the Bulls sure were close. Since the year 2000, there have been only a few players to have a bigger impact on the team than Noah and he should be very proud of his career.
