Chicago Bulls: Four best players over last twenty seasons
The Chicago Bulls have had some impressive players play for them over the last 20 years since they were a dynasty.
The Chicago Bulls and the rest of the NBA put out their NBA All-Stars last week and that sparked some debate around the Chicagoland area. Specifically, on ESPN 1000‘s Kap and J-Hood, they debated who the four best Chicago Bulls players are from the year 2000 and forward. It is an interesting debate because, despite very little success on the court over that 20-year span, there have been some really good players. It is a good debate right now as the Bulls are playing better than we thought during this 2020-21 season.
Of course, the debate has to be from 2000 on because it wouldn’t be that much fun to talk about if we used the entire history of the Chicago Bulls. Of course, Michael Jordan might take up 1-10 on a top ten Bulls list. He is the greatest player in the history of the NBA so of course, he is the greatest Bull. He is even comfortably at the top of the “all-time Chicago athletes” list and probably will be for a very long time.
There are also studs like Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman to consider if you choose to go to all-time Bulls history. Since 2000, however, there are plenty of players who deserve their credit as all-time great Bulls players.
For a few years there in the early 2010s, it was looking like the Bulls could go on a little bit of a run. They had a lot of great players on the team that was good enough to come together and win a championship. Some injuries (and one in particular) kept that from happening but you never know how they would have handled LeBron James and the Miami Heat if they were fully healthy. With that in mind, here are the four best Chicago Bulls players since the year 2000:
