1. LB Matt Milano

If you’ve watched the Buffalo Bills over the last few years, you likely have noticed that Buffalo has one of the best defenses in the NFL and that they have a legitimate franchise quarterback in Josh Allen. Buffalo is loaded on the defense with playmakers at every level. One name that’s become a key part of the defense over the last four seasons is linebacker Matt Milano.

Since entering the NFL as a fifth-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Milano has become a productive linebacker for the Bills. He’s got 273 total tackles, six sacks, 25 quarterback hits, and five interceptions. At just 26 years old, Milano clearly has a bright future ahead of him.

It doesn’t appear as if Milano will be returning to the Bills and if he hits the open market, Chicago needs to keep an eye on him. Signing him to a three or four-year deal would give the Bears a depth option for the next few years while also giving the Bears a replacement should the team move on from Danny Trevathan during the 2022 offseason.

As of right now, an ideal contract for Milano could be a three-year, $15 million dollar deal. While this does seem to be a bit more expensive than some would like, it’s worth noting that Milano is an ascending player that’s only getting better.
