With the news breaking this past week that the Chicago Bears are a team that quarterback Russell Wilson would consider playing for, the Bears fanbase simply cannot stop thinking about the thought of trading for Wilson.

Trading for Wilson wouldn’t just give Chicago the franchise quarterback that the Bears have been so desperately seeking, it would keep Chicago in Super Bowl contention for years to come. Meanwhile, General Manager Ryan Pace and Head Coach Matt Nagy would instantly become the most liked GM-HC combination in Chicago sports.

However, the Bears aren’t the only team that’s on Wilson’s list if he does get traded. Other teams include the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, and Las Vegas Raiders. All four teams that Wilson has on his list are teams who currently don’t have a surefire starter at quarterback in 2021.

Dallas could move on from Dak Prescott as he’s set to hit free agency, however, the two sides could also agree to a contract extension. New Orleans is still waiting for Drew Brees to officially announce his retirement while Las Vegas has floated around the possibility of trading Carr this offseason.

In other words, the Chicago Bears do have some competition should Wilson actually get traded. While any sort of deal could require multiple first-round picks, keep in mind that Chicago does have it’s next three first-round picks. Chicago also features a defense that would complement Wilson, ensuring that Wilson wouldn’t have to win every game by himself, something which has become the norm for the Seattle Seahawks over the last few years.

Chicago, along with three other NFL teams in on Russell Wilson, should have an equal shot at trading for Wilson. Looking at all the teams involved, let’s rank which ones are the biggest threats in the Wilson sweepstakes.
