The Chicago Bears have been an overrated franchise for a long time. They have a rich history because of those that came a long time ago but over the last 30 years, they have mostly been a joke. It is large in part thanks to their mediocre-bad play at the quarterback position. People in the town of Chicago have no idea what it is like to have an elite quarterback. They are the only franchise in the National Football League to never have a 4000-yard passer and that is just disgusting.

There are people against the Bears adding a quarterback like Derek Carr who is coming off his 3rd straight 4000-yard season when they have literally never had that before. This team needs one of those guys like they need air but they don’t just come out of nowhere. You need to do your homework to find one of those guys. Most of the time, it comes via the draft but every now and then you can find someone in free agency that can help you win.

The Bears have a nice roster but it will always look bad when they can’t get good quarterback play. Trubisky was okay in 2018 so the team made the playoffs with a 12-4 record. They made the playoffs in 2020 with both Trubisky and Nick Foles but they wouldn’t have in a non-COVID-19 year without the extra playoff spot. This is an issue that they need to fix and fast.

The Chicago Bears should avoid these 3 quarterbacks.

One thing that won’t fix this issue is just trying to add anyone. They continue to miss as an organization on the position and it shows a year in and year out. There are some guys out there that would be more of the same if the Bears went in that direction. These are the three quarterbacks to stay away from this offseason:
