Chicago Bears could replace Anthony Miller with these free agents

Chicago Bears replacements for Anthony Miller: Cedrick Wilson
One of the most affordable options out there for the Bears to look at in terms of replacing Anthony Miller is former sixth rounder Cedric Wilson. Back in the 2018 NFL Draft, Wilson came to the Dallas Cowboys out of Boise State but didn’t appear in a single game his rookie season.

Over the next two years, he was used sparingly and caught a total of 22 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns.
Last year, though, Wilson had one game that stood out and put his name at a national level. It was September 27 against the Seattle Seahawks. Wilson caught seven passes that game for 107 yards and two touchdowns — the only two touchdowns of his career.
The rest of the 2020 campaign, Wilson didn’t even total 107 receiving yards combined. That game ended up being an anomaly, but it proved he could play at the NFL level. The problem in Dallas was, Wilson was competing for time with Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb. There’s no chance he was going to play a whole lot while sharing the same room as those guys.
Wilson is primarily a slot receiver, though, so his presence in Chicago could certainly be of use. Having played alongside those three stud receivers last year, Wilson knows what it’s like to work hard for his spot. The one thing you could say the Bears would be getting in Wilson over Miller is work ethic. Wilson is one of those guys who doesn’t appear to be a problem in terms of his attitude and would come in and simply work.
