The Chicago Bears go out on a limb in effort to land Orlando Brown

Some people might see this trade and think that they must extend Orlando Brown in order to make it and that is fair. However, Anthony Miller is also a player with one year left on his deal. He is also a guy that a lot of fans are out on. He does more talking on social media than he does on the field so it wouldn’t be that sad to see him go if we are being honest.

If Miller went to Baltimore, however, he might be able to resurrect his career. He likes to agree with the “Chicago is where receivers go to die” mantra so maybe he won’t drop passes or run bad routes in Baltimore. Lamar Jackson is one of the five or six best quarterbacks in the NFL so it is fair to assume that won’t happen with a stud like Jackson making the throws.

As for Darnell Mooney, he is a fantastic player. The Bears struck gold when they selected him late in the 2020 NFL Draft. Going into year two, if he is on the roster, the Bears are going to have big hope for him. Jackson does need some more help over there in Baltimore so adding Miller and Mooney might actually help him.

Hot. The Chicago Bears can learn from Super Bowl LV. light

If the Bears can extend Allen Robinson and find another guy in the draft or free agency, this might be a really smart move. The fact that they keep their draft capital is incredibly important, too. Mooney is a great player and Miller needs a change of scenery. If they added a stud like Orlando Brown, all of these trades would be worth it.
