Orlando Brown nets the Ravens a stud number two running back and a high pick

The Chicago Bears need a tackle. It would be worth it to add a guy who only has one year left on his deal with the simple hope of bringing him back. Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy are probably all in on 2021 because if the team stinks they are gone. That is why it might be worth it to them to get someone who isn’t a lock to be there for more than a year.

If they did make this type of trade, however, it is assumed that they would try their best to get this guy locked up. If you can lock up a Pro Bowl left tackle for the long term, you really help set up the base of your offense for years to come. Doing that with Orlando Brown would be so worth it, especially at 24 years old (he will be 25 before the 2021 season starts).

Tarik Cohen missed most of 2020 but we know he can be a really good east and west running back. It would make a really good duo with David Montgomery, especially if Montgomery takes an even bigger lear in 2021. However, your running game is all for not if you can’t find holes created for you by the blockers. Orlando Brown is one of those guys who can do that (in addition to a lot of other things).

Ryan Pace is (mostly) bad at making picks in the first three rounds anyway so adding in a 2021 second-round pick isn’t too crazy. Chances are that he wouldn’t land them a player who can make this much of an impact anyway.
