Chicago Bears should trade these players for 2021 draft capital
By Ryan Heckman
The Chicago Bears could fetch quite the return for Kyle Fuller
Let’s get this out of the way first: Kyle Fuller is an excellent cover corner. He’s one of the best in football; arguably a top-5 and for sure a top-10 guy at his position. In terms of disallowing opposing receivers the football, Fuller is an elite player.

The problem has come when asked to come up with interceptions. Whether it’s not being in position to grab the football or dropping the pass altogether, Fuller just hasn’t been able to come up with takeaways consistently.
Still, as a phenomenal cover corner, the Bears could fetch a high pick for him. If they wanted to deal Fuller, the assumption would be that Chicago could net at least a second rounder — which is where they found Jaylon Johnson last year.
If not a second-round pick, the Bears could come up with something like a package of a third and fifth-round pick for Fuller — but I would assume a second-round pick is reasonable.
Dealing Fuller would take away a $20 million cap hit from the Bears’ books this offseason, which means they could not only re-sign Allen Robinson without a problem, but also have a little extra cash to work with if they went after a veteran quarterback via trade or free agency (Dak Prescott would be the only free agent worthy of going after, for the record).
