Tua Tagovailoa. 1. player. 59. . QB. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are in a very interesting spot. They have the third overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft as they hold the rights to the pick that originally belonged to the Houston Texans. Well, if they want Deshaun Watson, they might use that pick to get him back. That could leave Tua Tagovailoa available via the trade market. There is also a chance that the Jets pass on Fields which could force Miami to take him.

No matter how Tua becomes available, the Bears would be smart to consider him. It seems like the Dolphins didn’t truly trust him at any point in 2020 so you have to wonder what their true feelings are on him. He was their fifth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and he was viewed as the future of the franchise. He still might be that but they might have to miss on Watson before they say that.

If Tagovailoa came to the Chicago Bears, he would be a perfect fit for Matt Nagy’s offense. He seems like the type of player that could excel in that system. They need an offensive tackle, another receiver, and one more running back but they might be more inclined to do that if Tua was a member of their team. He may still not live up to his draft status but nobody will ever know unless they try.
