10. . QB. Houston Texans. Deshaun Watson. 4. player

The Chicago Bears and the rest of the National Football League know that Deshaun Watson is the best available option at quarterback this offseason. He has formally (and publically) asked the Houston Texans for a trade. Every team in the league, except for the Kansas City Chiefs, should be calling them to see what the deal is. 30 other teams would be improving their quarterback situation for the next decade or more if they added Watson.

The Chicago Bears could have had Deshaun Watson for free in 2017 but they passed on him in favor of Mitchell Trubisky in the 2017 NFL Draft. At the time, it was clear that he was going to be a stud in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes is better who went in the same draft but that almost came out of nowhere. Watson was passed on and should never have been by the Bears.

If the Bears were smart, they would make it up to him. It would be good for them as an organization to pay the price it would take to get him. If the Stafford trade says anything about the market right now, it is that a trade involving Watson would take a lot. It doesn’t matter because the Bears are going nowhere without a QB. This guy should be number one on the list going into the offseason.
