Chicago Bears should consider every one of these QB options
2021 NFL Draft
The Jacksonville Jaguars are already on the clock for the 2021 NFL Draft. They are most likely going to select Trevor Lawrence with that coveted pick. He is probably going to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL once he is fully developed. There is probably no chance that the Bears could trade up to get him so you can kiss him goodbye.
The same things can be said, in terms of their Bears chances, for Justin Fields and Zach Wilson. There is an outside chance that they can be traded up for but it would probably take a lot. They are both projected to be pretty good but neither of them is on Trevor Lawrence’s level. Justin Fields is the better of the two but Wilson can also be really good.
Beyond them, there are young quarterbacks like Trey Lance, Mac Jones, and Kyle Trask. Those are probably the guys who have a chance to be on the Bears when the Bears come up on the clock at pick number 20. Even if they get one of the veterans previously mentioned, it would probably be smart to draft one of these kids anyway.
The Bears should be looking to do whatever it takes to fix this position once and for all. They should acquire free agents, make trades, and draft people. This position has haunted them for 50+ years and they won’t start winning regularly until they fix it.
