54. . QB. Philadelphia Eagles. Carson Wentz. 11. player

Carson Wentz was one of the worst (and most surprising) quarterbacks in the NFL for 2020. He was eventually benched in favor of Jalen Hurts who they just drafted in the 2020 NFL Draft. This is a guy who is a former number two overall pick that has a lot of talent but just all of the sudden became a bad quarterback. At 28 years old, you have to wonder if he is actually that bad or if the Eagles are that dysfunctional of an organization.

Wentz was on his way to an MVP during the 2017 season. An injury late in the year ended his season and of course his chances of winning the MVP. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in that season. When Wentz went down, our guy Nick Foles stepped in and the Eagles soared to their first Super Bowl victory in the history of their franchise. Wentz is considered a champion as a result.

He might never be that MVP guy again but he also might if he is once again in a situation that he likes. There is a chance that he connects with Matt Nagy in order to get his career back on track. If anything, you can probably say with confidence that Wentz is better (at least more proven) than Trubisky and Foles. At a minimum, he is better than them in the regular season.
