The quarterback position is a big deal in the city of Chicago. It is mostly a big deal because of how pathetic the Chicago Bears have been at that position in their long storied history, especially during the Super Bowl era. When Jay Cutler is statistically the best one you have ever had, that is a problem. Things aren’t working out with Mitchell Trubisky or Nick Foles so it is clear that they are going to be looking for someone new next year.

The Chicago Bears should be looking at every option available to them this offseason.

Earlier in the week, we saw a huge trade go down between the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions. The Rams sent Jared Goff, two first-round picks, and a second-round pick to the Detroit Lions in exchange for Matthew Stafford. Both of those quarterbacks were apparently on Chicago’s roster but now they are both on new teams. It was a trade that feels like it might set the stage for what is to come late in the offseason.

That is where the Bears come in. They are a team with a decent roster that might believe that they are a quarterback away. They need to be looking at every available option. No stone should go unturned if you are Ryan Pace or Matt Nagy. They have missed time and time again so if a guy is known to be available this offseason, the Bears need to check-in.

If you include the 2021 NFL Draft, there are rumors that anywhere from 12-15 (or somewhere around there) teams could have a new guy under center next year. If Ryan Pace (and Nagy) don’t find someone who helps them win next season, they are going to be fired. These are all of the quarterbacks that the Bears could consider:
