Go big or go home: Bulls snag Drummond

YEAH, BUDDY!

It’s a long shot but this trade would do a couple of great things.

First of all, it would eliminate the scenario where Drummond is bought out by Cleveland to go join in with the superteam in Brooklyn. I hate superteams, so yay.

Second, Porter could fill a significant need in Cleveland and would provide an excellent complement to the Darius Garland-Collin Sexton backcourt.

Third, the Bulls would get a strong rebounding defensive anchor. Drummond could be a great teacher for Daniel Gafford and Carter while also dominating the glass on both ends.

I seriously doubt something this crazy would happen but the price just seems right on this trade. Everybody wins (except for the Nets)!

All three of these trades are in the realm of possibility and would do the most important thing of keeping Zach LaVine around, at least for the short term.

LaVine will be looking to make the playoffs for the first time in his career this season. That, plus an all-star bid, would put the Bulls in a much better light when LaVine looks to extend his contract next year.

Whether it be none of these trades or something like these, the Bulls have to make a move to make that playoff leap.
