At this point, we’re just waiting.

Waiting for Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley to make a move to start forming this Chicago Bulls roster to fit their vision.

However, the new front office duo in the Windy City has made it clear they are going to take their time and not have an itchy trigger finger with anyone. But the longer they wait, the more restless the fans will become.

Playing for a spot in the postseason has to start right now, while the seventh and eighth seeds remain open. Those two spots are currently occupied by the emerging Cleveland Cavaliers (9-10) and Tom Thibadeau’s New York Knicks (9-11), respectfully.

While the Bulls currently sit at 7-10, they’re only one game out of that seventh spot. The injury bug has once again hit  Wendell Carter Jr. however, and it is clear that Daniel Gafford still isn’t ready to make the leap into the starting five.

The Chicago Bulls currently sit in the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference, but these trades could boost them into the postseason.

The Carter effect is doubly so when the only other centers are Cristiano Felicio and Luke Kornet. Big yikes.

With Carter out for the next four weeks at minimum, the Bulls should look to move pieces starting now. Another center and a better playmaking point guard are at the top of the shopping list.

There is much debate on whether Coby White should be the starting point guard past this year due to his discomfort as a primary playmaker. While there is still hope for him to emerge as a point guard, it’s clear that it will take more time than Bulls fans are willing to give him.

Porter’s contract, Carter’s injury and White’s struggles have officially opened the trade rumor floodgates, so let’s jump on over to the trade machine and make some magic happen.
