Chicago Bears: What to watch for at the 2021 Senior Bowl

2. The Chicago Bears will have an opportunity to add key pieces to the offensive line
If we’re being honest, it’s time for the Chicago Bears to overhaul the offensive line, especially at offensive tackle. While the futures of Bobby Massie and Charles Leno Jr. are uncertain, 2020 did see the emergence of Sam Mustipher and Alex Bars as good options as interior offensive lineman, that still shouldn’t stop the Bears from adding talent to a key positional group.
While everyone will be focusing on players from big-name schools like Alabama’s Alex Leatherwood, Deonte Brown, and Landon Dickerson, there are plenty of small school players like Noah Brown (Northern Iowa) and Dillion Radunz (North Dakota State) that have future starter potential written all over them.
Chicago would also be wise to keep an eye on Notre Dame’s Liam Eichenberg and Aaron Banks and Oklahoma’s Creed Humphery and Adrian Ealy. Eichenberg is specifically a player who could start day one for the Bears, replacing Charles Leno Jr.
Overall, the offensive line group this year at the Senior Bowl is much deeper compared to the last few years. Coming away with the right players who fit what Nagy is trying to do on offense will be the most critical aspect of evaluating offensive lineman for the Bears.
