Bears: Three west coast quarterbacks that might be available

By now, everyone knows that the Chicago Bears are in a world of hurt when it comes to their quarterback position. They have never had an elite quarterback and won’t have one for a long time unless they get extremely lucky over the next year or two. For now, their roster is good enough to win with slightly above-average play at the position and a few of them might become available. There are a lot of reports out there that more than a handful of teams will have a change under center.

The Chicago Bears need to make a change at quarterback before the 2021 season.

If the Chicago Bears run it back with Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles again, they are going to be mediocre again if not worse. They will have a second-place schedule in 2021 which could spell doom for them if they don’t figure it out. Foles is on the payroll for next year and Trubisky is not because they declined his fifth-year option. If they bring him back and make them duel again, it will be a big issue for the third year in a row.

If 2021 is anything like 2020 would probably be the end for Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy. They probably deserve to go right now but they are getting another year to do something. They will almost certainly make zero progress if they don’t figure out something with their quarterback position. Some people believe that they will make a change for those reasons. They need to do anything they can to try and upgrade because this isn’t working.

One region of the country is a good place to start their search. There are a few west coast teams that could easily move on from the guy they have. Those teams might not have the supporting cast that the Bears have and that is why they want to move them or they believe they can upgrade as well.
