Scouting Report. North Carolina. Dyami Brown. 6. Pick Analysis. WR. player. 57

With the 180th overall pick, the Chicago Bears add an electric receiver in Dyami Brown from North Carolina.

Late in the draft, the Bears start to pluck away at different pieces to add to their offense which could end up paying dividends immediately. The situation this offseason with Allen Robinson could turn ugly in a hurry, with Robinson potentially leaving Chicago if not tagged.

Another player to monitor is Anthony Miller, who could be on his way out of Chicago, too. If that’s the case, the Bears are going to need a couple of wideouts in a hurry. Darnell Mooney becomes the de-facto number one, but with the guys the Bears have around him and could add, like Dyami Brown, this offense may not need a true number one if executed properly.

Brown is one of the more dynamic playmakers in this year’s draft class, and quite frankly, shouldn’t be available by pick 180. Depending upon which outlet you trust, or which mock draft simulator you decide to use, he could be gone as soon as the third round or as late as the seventh.

But, that’s why draft time is fun, right? There will be very good players who fall, just like Darnell Mooney did last year — and Pace found him.

Brown is a burner. This kid is fast, thus his 20.0 yards per reception in 2020. He ended last season with over 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns in the North Carolina offense and would fit perfectly with Chicago.
