3. The Chicago Bulls deal Otto Porter to the Utah Jazz

This last trade scenario is a spicier one, as the Bears would not only trade Porter to the Utah Jazz, but they would also be giving up Lauri Markkanen and Tomas Satoransky.

First of all, the Markkanen aspect of this trade is intriguing because we’re not sure what the Bulls’ plans are for him going forward. Prior to the start of the season, there were many rumors about the Bulls and Markkanen coming together on an extension, but that did not end up coming to fruition.

So, if the Bulls are unsure about committing long-term to Markkanen, getting a first-round pick in a deal like this makes the trade well-worth it.

Maybe Royce O’Neale ends up panning out for a while in Chicago, maybe not. But, having him in the deal makes this a potential slam dunk for the Bulls. Now, for the Jazz, they’re already a good team. They will likely find themselves in the playoffs, but adding two forwards and an experienced guard will only further their chances at a deeper run.
