Chicago Bears: 5 players to include in a Deshaun Watson trade

Chicago Bears trade candidates for Deshaun Watson: Akiem Hicks
Welcome to the part of the list that begins to hurt your insides. It would be incredibly difficult to see the Bears trade Akiem Hicks. He’s become the kind of guy who should end up retiring in Chicago, quite frankly. He’s embraced the city and the mentality of being this team’s heartbeat on defense.

When Hicks is on the field, the Bears’ run defense is one of the better units in the NFL. When he’s not, however, they get gashed. It’s a true testament to his All Pro level of play without actually getting the notoriety.
If you thought the Texans were bad against the pass in 2020, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Houston’s run defense was the worst in the NFL this past season, giving up 2,564 yards on the year. That number is astounding.
If Houston were to trade Watson, you’d have to think they’d be looking at drafting a quarterback with one of the first rounders they’d get as part of the deal. So, focusing on a defensive player or two in the trade would be highly beneficial.
If Hicks were thrown into a trade for Watson, you have to believe it could look something like this: Houston receives Hicks, a 2021 first-round pick, 2022 first-round pick and 2022 second-round pick.
Yes, it will take a haul for Watson — and the above trade example may not even be enough.
