Chicago Bears Rumors: Deshaun Watson traded to Bears in these potential deals

Trade 3: The unthinkable happens as the Chicago Bears go all-in on Deshaun Watson
Remember when the Bears originally traded for Khalil Mack back in 2018? Even getting dealt right before the season-opener didn’t stop Mack from completely wrecking the Green Bay Packers in Week 1 and going on to cause havoc all season long.
The 2018 version of Mack was an absolute monster. He was unstoppable. If he didn’t force a fumble every week, you thought something was seriously wrong. Well, things have changed just a bit, and dealing him for a player like Watson might not be the craziest idea.
Mack is best suited in Chicago if a defensive coordinator decided to be more aggressive. Chuck Pagano, on the other hand, is far from that. Mack has been much less effective under Pagano than he was with Vic Fangio. Some of it could be Pagano’s scheme. Some could be other issues beneath the surface which we cannot see.
Regardless, this type of move would still see the Bears coming out on top. The Texans get a guy who still has the potential to be the top pass rusher in this league in Mack, plus a couple of high draft picks. Mack and a couple of picks would be more than enough to rebound from the loss they suffered in the DeAndre Hopkins trade, allowing them to strip it all down and rebuild from the ground-up.
As a Bears fan, it would be incredibly difficult to see Mack leave Chicago. However, a franchise quarterback as good as Watson is well-worth the sacrifice.
