The Chicago Bears aren’t the only team that is playing as a major underdog this weekend.

The Bears aren’t going to be the only significant underdog this week. The NFC, as mentioned before, had a tough year but the NFC East was awful. They didn’t even have a team come out above .500 so the Washington Football Team won it with a 7-9 record. They were a scrappy underdog team all season long and if you had to pick a team to cheer for from that division, Washington would be it.

It isn’t the first time that a team won the division with a record under .500. In fact, teams who do that and host a playoff game have fared well recently. The 2010 Seattle Seahawks went 7-9 and the 2014 Carolina Panthers went 7-8-1 to win their respective divisions. Remarkably, each of them won their first playoff game. Now, each of them was about to have a stretch of being a Super Bowl contender in years to come but we don’t know Washington’s future yet.

Washington is going to host Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which might not fare well for them. The Bucs had somewhat of a slow start as each player was just getting used to things and there were some injury issues but they are a good team led by the greatest of all time. They are going to be ready to go with or without Mike Evans which should give them a good chance to beat Washington. Watching Tom Brady at this age is very exciting and should be awesome to watch once again in the playoffs.

Prediction: Tampa Bay – 28, Washington – 17
